Hinxden dairy is a true family farming business with 3
full time family members running the different
elements. The family have been
on Hinxden farm since 1928 and have been processing the milk from their two
dairy herds for 20 years, they currently deliver to over 1000 doorsteps on
their rounds
They are one of a few farmers in the country who have
both a Guernsey and a more usual black and
white dairy herd and they sell 80% of the milk they produce in bottles or as
yoghurt, crème fraiche or cream.
More recently their Guernsey milk has been shown used
in studies that indicate that it has a positive effect on the behavior and well
being of autistic children.
